Hi! I’m Jen (short for Jennifer).

I’ve always loved creating things that make everyday life feel a little more enjoyable, calm, and creative. Words Are Fun grew out of that love — and today, it’s a cozy corner for people who enjoy cozy word activities, from classic puzzles to creative printables and gentle reading inspiration.

What started as a puzzle-focused site has naturally grown over time. I still love creating word searches, crosswords, and word scrambles, but I’ve also made space for other ways to enjoy words — including coloring pages, writing prompts, and a growing Cozy Corner filled with cozy mystery reviews and reading ideas. Everything here is designed to feel approachable, flexible, and easy to enjoy at your own pace.

Why I Create Cozy Word Activities

I believe creativity and learning should feel accessible and enjoyable — not overwhelming. You don’t need fancy supplies or complicated systems to enjoy word-based activities. A printer, some paper, and a little curiosity can go a long way.

Over the years, I’ve created hundreds of printable pages, and what I love most is imagining how they’re used in real life. Whether it’s someone relaxing with a word puzzle, coloring during a quiet break, writing a few thoughtful lines, or discovering a new cozy read, it means a lot to know that something I made became part of someone’s day.

Words Are Fun exists to offer small, comforting moments with words — moments that fit easily into real life.
