This autumn colors crossword puzzle is a fun way to celebrate one of my favorite things about fall—all those beautiful colors popping up everywhere! From the leaves changing on the trees to the warm shades we start seeing all around us, there’s plenty of colorful inspiration packed into this puzzle.
Kids will read each clue and use what they know about autumn colors to figure out the answers. I love that they’re getting a little spelling, vocabulary, and problem-solving practice along the way, but it still feels like a fun seasonal activity instead of schoolwork.
This would be an easy printable to add to your fall classroom activities or homeschool plans. I’d also keep a copy handy for a chilly afternoon at home when you want something simple and screen-free.
Pour some apple cider, grab a pencil, and let the kids see how many colorful fall clues they can solve on their own!
