Kindergarten Sight Words
Word Search
This kindergarten sight words word search is a fun way to help little learners practice those important words they're just beginning to recognize! Learning to read is such a big milestone, and sometimes a simple puzzle can make practicing feel a lot less like schoolwork.
I wanted to create something that gives kids a chance to work on their sight words while having a little fun along the way.
Instead of using flashcards again, they can grab a pencil and hunt for familiar words hidden in the puzzle. And there's something pretty exciting about watching a child recognize a word all by themselves!
This would be a great activity for kindergarten classrooms, homeschool lessons, or a little extra practice at the kitchen table.
Print out a copy, let your little one start searching, and celebrate those small victories together. Every word they find is another step toward becoming a confident reader!
