Nature Word Search for Kids

A nature word search for kids is a fun way to bring a little bit of the outdoors into puzzle time! I created this puzzle with young word hunters in mind, using nature-inspired words that kids can search for throughout the letter grid.

There’s something satisfying about spotting a familiar word hiding among all those letters. Kids can look carefully across, down, backward, and diagonally as they work their way through the puzzle. And when they find a word, they get that little “There it is!” moment that makes word searches so much fun.

This printable nature word search can be used at home, in the classroom, or as an activity for kids who enjoy animals, plants, and exploring the world around them. It’s also an easy addition to a nature-themed lesson, activity day, or collection of kids’ printables. Just print a copy and let the searching begin!
