This garden word search for kids is a fun little way to bring some of the outdoors inside, without any dirt under your fingernails! I’ve always loved how many things there are to discover in a garden, from colorful flowers and buzzing bees to tiny seeds that eventually grow into something completely different.
Kids can work their way through the puzzle finding familiar garden words hidden among the letters. Along with being fun, it gives them a chance to practice spelling, vocabulary, and concentration. They might even discover a few words that inspire them to head outside and take a closer look at what’s growing nearby.
This printable would be a cute addition to a spring lesson, gardening unit, classroom activity, or homeschool day. You could even pair it with planting a few seeds or visiting a garden. Sometimes the simplest activities are the ones that lead to the best conversations and discoveries!
