Summer Crossword Puzzle

This summer crossword puzzle is a fun way to keep kids busy when they need a little break from all that summertime running around! I love activities that are easy to print, don’t require any setup, and still get kids thinking—and this one checks all three boxes.

The clues are filled with familiar summer words that bring to mind sunny days, trips to the beach, cool treats, and plenty of outdoor fun. Kids can work through the clues on their own or team up with a sibling or friend if they get stuck.

I think this would be especially handy to print before a summer road trip or vacation. You could also bring it along to a restaurant, use it during summer camp, or simply pull it out on one of those afternoons when everyone suddenly announces that they’re bored.
