This Thanksgiving word search is packed with hidden words that bring a little bit of the holiday season to puzzle time. I don’t know about your kids, but mine always seem determined to find that very last word—even when it has managed to hide in plain sight for the past ten minutes!

Kids can work their way through the word list, searching carefully through the puzzle and marking off each Thanksgiving-themed word as they find it. It’s an easy way to work on spelling, concentration, and word recognition while they’re simply having fun.

I like this one for the whole month of November, not just Thanksgiving Day. Add it to a Thanksgiving activity packet, use it for early finishers in the classroom, or leave a few copies out when cousins and friends come over.

Give everyone a pencil or colorful highlighter and see who has the sharpest eyes for finding those sneaky hidden words!
