This Thanksgiving word search for kids is a simple way to add a little puzzle time to all the excitement that comes with November. I especially like activities like this because kids can jump right in without needing directions explained five times or a table full of supplies!

The puzzle gives kids a collection of Thanksgiving-themed words to track down among the letters. They’ll have to look closely because some words may be easy to spot, while a few sneaky ones might take another trip through the puzzle.

It’s a nice activity to slip into your November homeschool routine, add to a classroom Thanksgiving packet, or keep on hand when you need a few quiet minutes. You could even send copies home with students before Thanksgiving break for something fun to do during their time off.
