This end of autumn crossword puzzle is a little way to enjoy those last bits of fall before winter takes over! By this time of year, the colorful leaves have mostly fallen, the air is getting colder, and thoughts are starting to turn toward the holidays ahead. But there's still plenty to love about the tail end of autumn! I wanted this puzzle to bring together some of the things we associate with the season, from crisp weather and bare trees to harvest traditions, cozy clothing, and those final fall days. Instead of simply saying goodbye to autumn, why not spend a little time with a crossword? It's a fun way for kids to think through clues, recall seasonal vocabulary, and practice spelling without feeling like they're doing a worksheet. Use it at school, during a homeschool lesson, or as a quiet activity at home. Enjoy one more little taste of fall!
