Pies Word Search

This pies word search is packed with the delicious flavors, ingredients, and baking words that make me want to head straight to the kitchen and grab a slice! There are so many kinds of pie to choose from, and everyone seems to have a favorite. Apple, pumpkin, cherry, chocolate, pecan—I’m not sure I could pick just one.

Kids can search through the puzzle for words inspired by different pies and the things that go into making them. Along the way, they’ll get a little practice with spelling, vocabulary, and concentration, but mostly they’ll be thinking about dessert!

This printable would be fun for Thanksgiving, Pi Day, a baking theme, classroom activity, homeschool lesson, or simply because you have a house full of pie lovers. You could even let everyone choose their favorite pie from the word list afterward. Just be warned: by the time the last word is found, somebody will probably be asking for dessert!
