As soon as the weather starts cooling down, I find myself thinking about pumpkin treats, warm apple cider, cinnamon, fresh-baked pies, and all those wonderful seasonal goodies that seem to taste even better in autumn. That's the inspiration behind this flavors of fall word search. The word list is filled with food and drink favorites that remind us of harvest season, cozy kitchens, and holiday gatherings. It's a nice change of pace from the usual fall leaves and pumpkin patch puzzles, especially if you enjoy anything food-related. Kids can have fun searching for the hidden words while getting a little spelling and vocabulary practice, too.
