A winter word search seemed like the perfect puzzle to make for those chilly days when you’d rather stay inside with something fun to do. I don’t know about you, but there’s something about sitting down with a pencil and hunting through a bunch of letters that I find surprisingly relaxing.

For this puzzle, I chose words that remind me of winter and all the little things that come along with it. Some should be easy to spot, while others might make you slow down and really look. And, of course, there’s always that one word that seems to disappear until you’ve looked through the puzzle three times!

Print it out, grab your favorite pencil, and see how many words you can find. You can work on it when you have a few minutes to yourself, share it with the kids, or keep it nearby for a snowy-day activity.
