Fall Word Search

This fall word search is one of those easy activities I like to have ready when kids need something fun to do for a few minutes. Hidden among all those letters are words inspired by the season, and part of the fun is seeing which ones they can spot right away—and which ones manage to hide until the very end!

Kids can search up, down, across, and around the puzzle as they work through the word list. Along the way, they’re practicing concentration, spelling, and word recognition without really thinking about it as learning.

You could set this out after a trip to the pumpkin patch, bring copies to a fall get-together, or slip it into an activity folder for an easy screen-free option. I also think it’s a fun way to fill those extra few minutes during a busy day.

Grab a pencil or highlighter and see which fall word your child discovers first!
